Very Long & Narrow Solar Panels

Various companies make so-called narrow semi-flexible, solar panels but most are about 300-350mm min. wide. There may be technical reasons that make this impractical but has anybody seen any that are, say 150 - 200mm wide by 1800 - 2000mm + long?

Individual solar cells used in flexible panels are usually about 150mm square which means that a panel made with them two abreast ends up about 350mm wide. I have never seen a panel made as a single row of cells.

I have two of their "Tough" panels waiting to go on my boat. They look OK, though I don't know how they'll perform. I bought mine from Ferropilot in Germany, but see that danvolt.co.uk (about whom I know nothing) have some excellent prices on Sunbeam stuff at the moment, including the long thin 18W one for £110. Thanks for the suggestion and links. The narrow option opens up a lot of location possibilities. It would be good if someone produced a 2000mm x 150mm panel.

I like the idea but would prefer to have encapsulated ones for weight and I guess, longevity ......?
