What a fantastic looking fun machine - Sat on the boat, anchored off east head with a beer and Robp yesterday when two dinghys wooshed passed then rose up out of the water on what made them look like nautical pogo sticks. Each had a buterfly motiff on the sail. We did check what we were drinking!!

I saw these this weekend too.

Absolutely awesome sight watching them "fly" with just the tip or the keel/rudder in the water.

Anyone sailed one of these ? Haven't sailed a dinghy for years but having seen these I'm sorely tempted !

ah but up on the foils we wouldn't have run aground..........oh and at 20 knots you would have had the plotter on course up too /forums/images/icons/smile.gif

I gather form the odd comment in your posts from time to time you are tripping out next year?

Always important to have the laptop the right way up!

Oh and yes, next Easter, breaking the umbilical cord and off much further south to some warmer bits..then in November to the West a bit.

How the hell did you get into East Head over the weekend, I have'nt seen it packed like that for ages!

We were out sailing with the current owners of our new boat (Soon!!), looked like it was GRP from East head to Pilsey!

Got there early and found a decent spot sat and Sunday heavy boat long keel stays put - A little busy there, someone counted 71 boats stayed overnight! . Another dodgy bloke called Rob P arrived and we nearly melted the aerial cables in the sticky up bit on the back with the bar-B-Q.... D'oh.

Thought we saw you screaming starboard at some tack rage victim you were trying to mow down in your new ocean cruise liner.

There we are then, between 2K and 3K. But will it come to bits and fit on the side deck? Of an ordinary boat that is, not an HR42 football pitch!

Very tempting - not sure the old body would take the strain.. football pitch - cheeky sod. Funny though, some racin' bloke said last week "thought about astro turf for that then?"
