Excellent, who are you going with, as I know Guapa is still out at Fox's, we saw her last weekend. By the way, how's your dog doing? We had a real set back with our dog and she had to go back to the rescue centre. We now have a puppy. It's full on with house training etc., I'm shattered!:eek:

That was fun

1. Did our bit for Trinity House - verified the position of Landguard north cardinal. It's still in the same place they left it.
2. Noticed Jomo (Wild Otter) off Shotley Spit. What a nice boat - jealous. Sailorman will no doubt post the picture later.
3. The genoa on an Oyster 37 is HUGE. Imagine my surprise when I found a great big countainer ship hiding behind it :o:o Happy to report that his ship's horn worked just fine.
4. A boatowner who actively encourages alcohol consumption while sailing and does not carry lifejackets :eek::eek: There ought to be a law against it :p Or maybe not :D
5. Weather was just fine - never more than 10-12kts apparent - sunny blue skies. Knew we were going to be fine as the Met Office had issued a gale warning :D

All in all: a most pleasurable way to spend a Saturday afternoon. A nice reminder of what it can be like on the water.

Yep confirm is was a Hoot yesterday, the weather perfect for a November day. Clear blue sky & sun

It's really hard work isn't it? Meg will do the same, I think it's just a question of perseverence. We've got some spray now for outside that encourages them to pee. We're also taking her out on the lead and staying with her until she performs. Both these things are helping. Good luck.

I'm glad you enjoyed your sail. I cannot wait to be on the water again, even though it was only last weekend we sailed up to Ipswich Haven from The Deben. We had a sheltered day on Sunday in the marina. According to Clive G there was 40 knots of wind on The Deben on Sunday! We've taken the decision to stay the winter and next summer at Ipswich Haven, this should make things easier with getting the dog used to the boat.:)
