Very deep socket set ?

I'm sure i have seen 6" + pipe socket sets in the distant past.

I need to tighten un 3/4" nut at the other end of a long bolt.

Cutting the bolt is a major pia as its behind a sink.

Any suggestions ?

Box spanners used for fixing monobloc taps which have a single or double nut on a long stud fixing up under a sink/worktop, so the tube part of the spanner needs to be long. You can get them on Ebay very cheap so not necessarily that good quality, but if you only need to use it once or twice..................................?

Tube spanner

My Dad used to make his own plug spanners (a long time ago) by simply finding the right sized steel tube and a nut of correct size. Heat the tube till red then bash the nut into the tube. You could have a tube any length you like. good luck olewill

I have a set of crows foot spanners by Snap-On.
They don't like too much force, or they open up and spin to the next flat.
Not much use on a rusty or very tight application IMHO.

The only crows foot I have is one my father made... It'll never open up and spin to the next flat! The business end is cut from 1/2" thick steel ... it's a bit heavy to use though!

You should send it to Snap-On they need re-designing.
Nice shiny tools though.! :-)
