Some posts, I prepare in Word (or Dragon pad) and then cut and paste to the reply box here. Recently when I do this I systematically get the message IE has encountered a problem and must close. Very annoying especially if it is a long post (or a particular gem of wisdom...!! ) that I want to share.

Any ideas why this should happen?

John

Yes i'm afraid they are right,
try useing something that Bill Gates mob have written, poor old IE might just stand a chance of understanding whats happening.
you could on the other hand try downloading Mozila a far better browser than IE and a lot faster

G'day John,

I find the best system is to use my outlook express e-mail. create new mail, select all and copy when finished and paste.

This also prevents posts that are too wide to display.

There was some further discussion of this problem, about three weeks ago on the Website News & Feedback forum (where this post properly belongs), under a thread entitled "Technical Help" by Russell Brenton. I thought it sounded as if it might get fixed with the current software upgrades.
