Hi,

I have a Verl 790 lying in the driveway at home. Has spent 18 years on hard standing. Replaced the Volvo Penta MD5a for a reconditioned one and also the seals on the sail drive. 5 years later I never got round to putting her in the water.

The trailer she is on is not road worthy and I have relocated to the South of Spain. Does anyone know a rough price for transport from Loch Lomond area to Spain, my guess is a lot. Also where would I find a fin keel trailer which would take her, have trolled the internet and nothing is jumping out at me.

She needs lots of TLC but for sentimental reason it isn’t easy letting her go. Just brain storming and seeing if anyone has any ideas. Keep, sell, transport etc

What is different now that you live in Spain that means that you will (if you have her moved there) crack on with everything that needs doing & get her sailing?

Minimum£5k but you will likely have difficulty importing it into Spain. Not really a suitable boat for Spanish type sailing.

Sell it to somebody who will appreciate it - but don't expect more than pocket money.
