Time to give an update on the new Veridan product that was launched Jan'01. This product is for outdrive/prop(s) and when applied forms a slippery coating.

My boat has been in the water for more than 4months and Veridan is still there. Barncles and other marine life still attaches to the outdrive and prop but comes off with just a wipe over. I also find a trip out cleans them off just as well and I still manage to keep nearly 30knots - normally by now this would be creeping down through the season.

Therefore I think money will spent so far (£50), anyone else found similar results or not.

Have had the same experiences. I seems to be good stuff. I just wonder if the coating will do so good next season after a winter out of the water.

Good point, I guess the only way to find out is to ask the supplier. I do remember on application for the first time, the label did say something like no more than 3months out of the water!
