Venture Cup cancelled :(

Fortunately Tally Ho have a support vehicle which holds lots of spares. They were able to replace and repair yesterday, and are now running fine again .....at least they would be, if the Guardia Civil wasn't currently holding them all at the fuel berth in Benalmadena!

Thanks Aidan,

I am the first to admit i was not a fan of the way the Venture Cup (as it was) was heading but much respect to you for following this through and reporting.

Its great to hear how they are all getting on. this latest report on just the 4 relatively small boats through Spanish waters.... can just guess at the hissy fit that would have been thrown if the fleet of 30 + boats went through "not racing"

For anyone who might be on the Cote d'Azur and interested in the final leg this coming Sunday (22nd June). The boats will be leaving St Tropez between 1200 and 1230 for an expected arrival into Monte-Carlo at 1400. The timing is at the request of Yacht Club de Monaco who are cutting the ribbon on their amazing new clubhouse tomorrow, and the end of Venture '14 is forming part of their celebrations. Several supporter boats are already confirmed and we welcome any other wishing to join (please send a PM).
If you aren't already aware, the fleet can be tracked at all times here: http://venturetrack.co.uk/
