I have venetian blinds on most of the boat windows. They have a guide wire at each end attached to a pressed metal "foot" that is screwed to the base of the window. These feet are made of galvanised steel and they keep going rusty- especially the ones in the cabins with openeing ports. anyone know where I can find some stainless or better - plastic equivalents?
cheers

The bullet shaped ones by oceanair are lovely. They don't rust and the fixing screw is completely hidden. They sell them as spares in silver or gold. I'll try to post a photo later
