There was a thread on here a few days ago about the problems of water stains on interior veneered woodwork.
Well, I had this problem and have now tackled it.
I identified the cause which was condensation gathering on metal window frames and dripping onto the wood below.
Close examination showed the wood below the veneer to be solid but the veneer needed to be removed.
This was done and I had solid teak panels made up and fitted so that any future condensation should not cause the staining problem and if the worst comes to the worst it can simply be sanded down and re-varnished.
