Installing Raymarine autopilot and VDO rudder angle indicator on an old Rosborough Banks Cruiser . Best orientation for the angle indicator results in starboard reading port and port reading starboard. Changing the orientation is much less desirable due to limited space and access. I tried reversing wires on the sensor and that doesn't change anything. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

I have a VDO rubber angle indicator with a SIMRAD auto pilot and I do not think the rubber indicator for the autopilot and VDO are not compatible

I would get a ray marine rudder indicator for the autopilot. I have 3 separate rudder indicators (autopilot, Cockpit rubber indicator (VDO) Inside wheelhouse rudder indicator (home built)

Thank you guys for that information. I thought that with the output being a resistance reading that it would work. But I will order a Raymarine rudder sensor today!!
