Hi! I'm David, I'm new in this forum and this is the reason why I don't know if I'm in the right section. In any case I want to ask you, as you can immagine from the title, if vasselview mobile of mercury is useful, becouse I want to install it on my boat and use my ipad to monitor the engine. Depsite is cheaper than the standard vasselview can it give you some good information about the motor or it's a bullshit and it's a waste of money? I apologize in advance form my english, but i came from Italy: p

Benvenuto Davide.

Vesselview is Mercury Marine's proprietorial engine and boat data system. It is difficult to imagine that the system is not fully sorted and gives all the info you want, at a price you may not like :).

The techies on the mobo forum are sure to know its strengths and weaknesses and will comment in due course.

Not many on here have mercury engines I imagine. Let alone vessel view.
I have mercury but not the option for example.
Hopefully someone can help.

Thanks, I bought it the last Saturday and I'm really satisfied by the product. The information about the engine are really accurate, it can give you also the hourly comsumption and the distance that you can achive with the remaning fuel. You can make also a list of what stuff you have to take with you when you go out with the boat, so you can't forget anything. if you have problem with the engine the vasselview will help you to identify the problem. t the end it's really useful

Hi, not sure what boat / engine you have but we have vessel view on our 300 Verado. i am VERY impressed with it. information is accurate and detailed with lots to give.

i did a test on fuel used last week. tank was brimmed to start, vessel view said we had used 124 L of fuel. filled up and managed to get 122L in the tank.

what engine / vessel view do you have? i am just working out how to update the software which i hope to sort this weekend.

I bought a quicksilver activ 555 in package with the new mercury 100 cv efi, it's a small boat but I use it in the seaside and in the lake Maggiore to fish and to sunbathe. it's my second boat so i didn't want to exagerate with the dimension of the boat, in a few years i would like to take an inflatable boat like zar or stingher.
