Just finished 8 coats varnish on my oars. How long to leave them so varnish hardens. They are inside at a temp of approx 15 degrees c
A couple of variables I reckon. How long between the previous coats? no more than 24 hours How thinned were the previous coats? Progressevly less down to nil What temperature were they in when they were being coated? at least 18 degrees c
I'm sure that others will be along with other thoughts.
Are you wanting to know how long before you can use them? You can't use them, ever. You'll need a Honda 2.3hp!:encouragement:

Try this. Why varnish teak. Leave it to go that lovely silver colour.
