With apologies to the OP as the tread is drifting in to one on my boat search...

Onesea - I'd not come across a Tridient before so Googled and came up with this... :D

...but after I'd come to my senses I found the yacht you were referring to; at 24 foot she's a little bigger than I'd really want, but I hear what your saying, she's a good looking boat...

SWMBO Said something about a house before that trident :(

The little variety (trident 24) are cracking boats have friendly owners society, if price is holding you back they are often found at reasonable prices.

No standing headroom and engine arrangements can be biggest downfalls...

ProDave,

the boat on that ad' sure ain't a Hurley !

Super Silhouette 21 I think.

One of us is wrong, me or him, though it wouldn't be the first time I've seen people on E-Bay who don't know what they've got; hope it wasn't towed off someones' drive !

Yep. I think he got £1650 0r £1700 for it. He advertised to make sure he got £1500 by asking more and the buyer was delighted to pay the asking price.

He got the tender in the deal.
I reckon for that boat with a good trailer and very good 4hp stroke outboard and a tender he got a good buy.

He should have it on a mooring in Colwyn Bay by now.

Hmm, that'll be a drying berth behind the breakwater or in Rhyl harbour I hope. I presume he lives there, cos there are lots of better spots to keep a boat around there.
