Value My Dinghy

My experience of ebay suggest there are at least as many trying to move things on as looking to buy for themselves.
The dinghy isn't taking up any room. I am one of those who think if I haven't used something for a while it's wasting away. I just sold my trimaran for that reason and whilst it didn't fetch as much as I would have liked a disabled bloke who is involved in a new Sailability group bought it. So it'll get more use and be of more use than getting a couple of outings a year with me.

Yup, I know what you mean. I started to put word about that my 14' Lune Pilot, which is in Good condition, with all spars, sails, road trailer and engine under 4 years old, was for sale because I did not think I would have much time to use her next year, and felt it would be better if someone was using her actively. However I have now booked a holiday in Argyll at Easter, in a farm cottage with its own slipway and pontoon, so she is back off the market! Do you think anyone would be interested in buying her after Easter if I advertised her for say £2750?

so we are into woodpile wars...

Here's mine for the next six weeks; offcuts 1" thick kiln dried oak. If anyone wants any sawdust for smoking fish or meat..... or I have a few offcuts (around 6" by 3ft by 1") which might be useful if a you need a bit for fixing an odd corner.
