Birchwoods are nice boats. This spec does not have an abundance of engine power, so good for early to mid 20 kn. should cruise at 18-20 kn. will be fine for coastal and offshore use.

It also runs on diesal instead of the more common diesel.

I think these were just about OK, but certainly built to a price. This one was just before Birchwood went bust, and not from their best era IMHO, so check for cut corners. I recall looking at a new one around this time that was moored on our pontoon, brand new and you could see the glass matting through the gel coat all along the topsides above the rubbing strake. I think a Sealine F36 would be a better bet

I owned a 2004 Birchwood 370. It was well built and reliable. I'd say if the survey and sea trial go well then go for it.
