UV-resistant plastic

I made some slatted shades for my windows out of PVC. After 2 years they are getting brittle, and crack easily.

Can anyone please advise me of an opaque (or highly tinted) plastic sheet that is UV-resistant (and affordable)?

From memory, think Teflon is very good (but probably not stiff enough for what you want). also ABS and black pigmented acetal are quite good.

all plastics are subject to UV degradation, about the best you will get is
polycarbonate .

Makrolon a trade name for a polycarbonate is UV resistant and one side is scratch resistant, it can also be folded to over 90 degrees angles in a sheet metal bender COLD !!

Often used in machine safety guards as you can hit it with a hammer and it won't break, and it can even be sewn into canvas covers for hard windows.
