Using Propane aboard

Propane gas will work better in the winter than butane as it gasses off at a lower temp. last winter I had a butane bottle that was about 1/4 full and I could open the valve and nothing came out mind it was -12c at the time.
Come the end of February it was OK and it was in use till the end of May.:)

The boiling point of butane is -0.5C but it becomes unusable a few degrees above that temperature.

The boiling point of propane is approx -42 C so suitable for any temps most people will encounter.
