Just in case you have not seen this poster before. He has been asking this question for several months - usually by interrupting others' perfectly reasonable requests for information. (Behaviour sometimes described as a Troll)
He has been directed to the UN Convention that sets out the principles about registration of vessels, the record from Hansard where the minister announced that the government was going to introduce a new register for UK Yachstmen to use to meet the requirements of the UN convention. Then he was directed to the Act of Parliament and related regulations that implemented the policy which resulted in the SSR developed in conjunction with the RYA.
This does not seem sufficient to convince him that the statement made by the RYA is true. In our society if you believe that a statement is not true, then you collect evidence to demonstrate that it is not true. The reference I have given him has some of the underpinning thinking that supports that approach.
However he seems to think that additional verification is needed so he has been directed to the RYA.
He does not seem to respond to the normal reaction to such a peculiar position he holds - which may be go away you Twat, but like a broken record keeps on asking the same question.
Maybe we should have a Twats forum here. Fortunately there are not many potential members but he could be a founder member!
