Forget the oils. Ammonia is what you want. Soak it for 24 hours and it dissolves the aluminium oxide.

I recently got told that silicone spray desolves the aluminium rust which then allows the stainless steel fastening to be removed.
I don't know if it works because I've never had to try it yet. But it's another option.
