Used / cheap Volvo Penta parts

Is there such a thing!? Seriously, I need various service and non service items for a 280 outdrive leg. Keypart seem expensive and I daren't go to Volvo themselves. I know I'm a tightwad but any sources would be welcome. Is there someone who specialised in breaking old marine engines / gearboxes?
