What always gives me the giggles is "wild honey". What is tame honey?

Another hilarious event was the scientist who said that there was no difference between an organically grown tomatoes and one grown using modern farming inputs. Of course there could never be as the genetically they are identical but the organic one tastes better and is much better for the environment.

Non organic free range is still pretty shoddy compared to organic free range so there are even more benefits to organic eggs.

Both mags and the kids now refer to "outdoor climbing." Silly me, I thought that's where the mountains have always been.

Ah, but now there are many indoor climbing walls. Not that I could ever attempt one, I can see the great advantages for those wanting to practise/have fun:-
Fixed ropes/descenders, dry, supervision etc.

But IF I was a climber then the great outdoors would be my choice

Ticks, fleas, midges, mice, wasps, birds (avian type) and that's before all the dangers from garden tools, machinery, pesticides, herbicides, neighbours' CCTV cameras...….

Went on a family holiday in the late 50's to a small farm cottage in Devon-Ideford perhaps-where the only toilet was in the front garden.

It was a large two holer over a stream on a steepish slope so the water ran fast.

It was ahead of its time, being self flushing...................................
