Roughly how much does it cost to ship a 40 ft yacht back from the USA ? just been looking at prices and they are just so good - I guess its the dollar/ sterling rate.

Then there would be VAT I guess ? I've heard that Madeira is the place to get that sorted ?

Regarding the possible transport of your boat, based on dimensions provided, the total cost of freight is the following:

- From Palma to Brisbane is $ 34,700 USD
- From Palma to Port Everglades is $ 13,200 USD

We go to Brisbame twice a year. The next one out Palma to Brisbane is leaving beginning of June. And the next one departs from Toulon to go Brisbane in November.

Vyv that is a heck of a price, considering the last quote I had from Dockwise, was in February, and they wanted $38,310. From Port Everglades to Palma.
