You couldn't make this up.... went to drail oil this morning and the extractor tube broke in the dipstick tube (about half way).
Obviously I didn't push it down any further.
I see the top of the dip-stick tube is held with a nut, not too hard to access.
How is it attached to the sump? It appears to be a round connector (was expecting to be able to get a spanner to it.
Also, i've extracted approx 2 litres... is oil going to come pumping out when I eventually release the tube?
Any advice much appreciated, i'm on a temp berth so need to get this sorted ASAP.
