Upside-down Diesel Heater.

In our boat it would work best if the Chinese Eber type diesel heater were mounted upside down.
This would save making extra brackets and get better protection for the pipes etc.

Is this safe?
Has anyone else tried this?

The heater wouldn't work upside down. You can mount them on their side taking care to make sure they are have the correct side facing up.

It is not recommended at all due to the location of the little vent hole. Plenty of info online about this.

They can be mounted on their side with the heater glow plug uppermost(I think). Lots of info on Facebook sites and utube.
