Upgrading frtom a 23\' to a 27/29\' yacht - which one?
I identified my first yacht as one that's easy to sail; a large cockpit for 4 adults; no back-stay so I can fish off it; a swim ladder; shallow draft for running up on sandbanks. I bought a (USA) Hunter Legend 23.5. A great choice but this now too small. I want -ditto- but perhaps a fixed keel (no moving parts- perhaps a wing?); a proper heads to permit entertaining business clients in comfort and dignity; recent build and modern design. Sleeping on board will not be required but some single handed sailing will need most bits of string leading back to the cockpit. Any ideas welcomed ....Spring 25 comes to mind, Sadler 29 probably too expensive. I'll keep you advised of outcomes but advice welcomed. COLIN.
