Hi All, Just sold my Aquador 25C and looking to replace her with something up to 33 ft max. Single screw on shaft. I do a lot of single handed trips and liked the m/s sliding door on the 25C. Looked at MF's but don't like the offset bunk, Antares 1080 has better sleeping arrangements but like the MF there does'nt appear to be anywhere for the 'Lookout' to sit. Likewise Rodmans. Is it poss to get an Antares 1080 with a single engine? Nimbus appeal but are a tad twee and slow. Don't fancy any thing with outboard(s) either. Botnia Targas too expensive but like the bunk space aft. Any thoughts on what else I might look at please folks? (>£75K...)

I believe they did the antares 9 on single shaft drive, think the 1080 was only twins. The rodman 800 had the option for a single engine, other than that only boats I would suggest is either nelsons or Mitchell’s.

Botnia Targa’s, for a boat of the length you are looking for, are outdrives, so they’re ruled out if you want shaft drives.

Obvious choice if you want a side door is the Aquador 32C if you can find one in budget.

Nimbus 310 / 320 will cruise at 18 knots with 24 knots at WoT with a Yanmar 4LH-STE - not sure you'll find anything much faster with a shaft at that size and price.

I own a Merry Fisher 10 (single shaft) and have been extremely happy with it. Great general layout design and the largest and most usable flybridge you can find on any boat this size. It is also a CE design category B boat.

I do not mind the offset front cabin bed, but if you do not like it, you can check out Antares 30. It is basically the same boat as MF10, but with small differences in the layout design, and it has a centerline bed in the front cabin.
