Can't quite believe it but we have just done a deal on a 3 yr old sc35! Went to boat show yesterday to sus out whether or not we could make the move a reality (not really getting our hoped up tbh) and by 5pm we were on our way to Lincoln to view this 3 yr old. By 11 this morning, we'd done the deal subject to the usual. A truly awesome if slightly surreal feeling!

Well Done

Congratulations

As you say it's a great but surreal feeling. One thing's for sure, and that's that you will really enjoy the SC35, it really is a fabulous boat, but if I'd have had my way I'd have come away from SIBS with a new SC42.

Don't forget to post some pics, and let us know the name so we can look out for you, and don't forget to give Marmite a wave when you see her.

Neil

:)Congratulations Lisa , the SC35 is a fab boat and the sliding roof gives it the best of both worlds , will you be booking up the MBM cruise next year ? Make sure the steering rams are the latest update , (stops the nasties growing on the shiny metal )

I bet there'll be an SC42 berthed in a riverside pontoon come 2013, watch this space:D:D:D

just read your profile Lisa

2009 - 2010: Monterey 218
2010: - 2011: Monterey 250
2011 - 201x: Sealine SC35

That's some impressive jumping through the LOA's in a short space of time. we started boating the same year as you and hope to get a mid 30 something next year but nothing as grand as your new boat I'm afraid, an F33 or S34 would be nice.

as said, let us all know how you get on please

I don't recon it is (and I may be wrong), but 3 years old would make it an 09 boat which means that the engine vents would be vertical rather than the single horizontal vent that this one has!

Looking forward to seeing the pictures and congrats on the new purchase!

Wow Lisa, exciting news. its really nice to see people's growth in confidence and boats on this forum... but I think you get the proverbial biscuit for speed of upgrades :D

you are going to have to do a lot of updating on the bio Lisa - and I guess the Ferrari will be in the garage Christmas?

Have to tell you Duncan, the Ferrari is now a distant dream replaced by a Lada and a second hand one at that :).

Wow congratulations, very exciting! Also very jealous as that's my ideal next boat :D

when do you get to play with the new toy?!

Hi Richie, thankyou and hopefully she'll be out to play in a few weeks depending on the extras we negotiated.

Gary...Thanx :). Slightly embarrassed now looking at the acquisitions list since we started :o but still fancy the riverside pontoon :);). Will of course keep you posted.

Steve...We're dead chuffed, thanks and of course you are welcome aboard anytime as long as ya wipe ya feet first ya peasant!;). Seriously tho, pop and see us for a beer when ur about ok? Welcome any time.

Rummy...No not that one, ours is a bit older.

Neil...Thanks :). I will post some pics for sure and I'll let u all know her name when we get the all clear from the surveyor just so u know which boat to avoid . We will look out for Marmite :).

Andy...Absolutely will be looking up the cruise in co next year and duly noted about the steering rams thanks :):).

Thankyou all so much for your interest; any advice will be much appreciated as ever.
Lisa :)

LJS...thankyou so much :)

Aigua...you're spot on and yes will of course post pics and thankyou :).

Firefly...I think you might be right :o just can't help ourselves...we've been bitten bad by the boating bug I'm afraid.

FP...thankyou and yes i have to agree with you there :):).

Congratulations on your purchase, nothing like a boat show to tempt you into another boat, that why I've stayed away.. I've had my current boat for nearly 2 years which is a record for me.

It's a good time to be getting a new boat, more empty berths in October to practice your skills.
