updating charts.

Having just paid over twenty quid for a new chart I thought I might start as I hope to go on and see how easy it is to update it.
The two sites I have trierd are not in the least straight forward, and on the searchable Notice to mariners site everytime I enter a chart number i get this "Input string was not in a correct format."

Can anyone show me an easy way?

Hmmmmm .. Suppose you could give um a ring and ask .. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif .. Just make sure you get the number in the right format .. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I have had no problem with Admiralty. Just put in the 4 number code only and the correct charts' correction appear to be downloaded

Unfortunately, the UKHO Notice to Mariners site seems to be quite temperamental. I have seen the error message that you are receiving when it is a problem at their end. Try again on the next working day - it may be fixed then.

in case of problem to enter the page, try first with http://www.ukho.gov.uk and after go to products / safety / etc
