Updating cartography

I bought a standard horizon cp180i about 3 years ago which came with C Map Max cartography.
Is there anyway to update the cartography or do you have to buy new?

Any C-Map dealer will update it for you - typically at about 50% of the cost of a new chart cartridge.

The cartridge I bought a year and a half ago came with a voucher valid for one free update (I'm saving it till the chip is a bit older ). It seemed to be part of the normal pack rather than a temporary special offer (though I could be wrong about that). If you still have the bumph that came with yours, worth checking there isn't a similar voucher among it? Mine didn't mention an expiry date.
