Does anyone yet supply this in the UK, or know anyone who can supply it?

This is the material recommended for stern glands in Nigel Calder´s "Boatowner´s Mechanical and Electrical Manual (Second Edition)". I see there was a thread on it a couple of years ago - when it was not available in the UK.

Has anyone bought some (from the USA) since, tried it, and have surplus to sell? Has any entrepreneurial sailor or Chandler imported some?

I bought some from West Marine a few years ago. It didn't solve the problem, because my shaft was too badly worn (I'm replacing it next week (hooray!)). I bought 2 packs, cost me about £80 including shipping (yes pounds not dollars). I've no reason to suppose it will not work. In fact, when I removed my shaft on monday, the packing was nicely molded. None spare I'm sorry, I'll be using the spare stuff with my new shaft.

I bought some from West Marine about 18 months ago, could not find a supplier in UK. So far as I remember it cost about £60 for one pack. It works well. Used up the remainder in my rudder gland I'm afraid!
