Update - Ardrishaig pontoon, Crinan Canal

[Quandary]

A few months ago, I advised that the pontoon in the harbour outside the sea lock lost it outer mooring back in January and since April it has had a "pixx off, do not use" notice on it.
I am pleased to report that the mooring has now been repaired and the "Welcome to Ardrishaig"??? notice has been removed.
It is now available for overnight stays or while waiting for locking in.

Another option is to go onto one of the moorings or anchor at the Oystercatcher bar at Otter Ferry. No need to blow up dinghy as if you give them a phone they will come out in the dory and pick you up for a meal. Give Ken a call on 01700 821229. Nice food and friendly.
Then in morning is just a quick hop over to the Canal. Mind and go correct side of the Otter Ferry spit marker.
