To celebrate the 250th issue, Classic Boat is now seeking 50 more top classics - and I need your help.
Please let me recommend a fine masterpiece of English maritime heritage: the Carrina: A staysail schooner, launched in 1929 and still in a remarkable unique condition.

Have a look at her website www.carrinaclassics.com and you will be convinced too, that she deserves a listing on the Top 250 of great boats.
Please nominate her in honor to the fine skills of all these shipwrights who have given their utmost on the many shipyards England had in the early 19-hundreds.

The Carrina is a beautiful example of the high standards of English maritime craftsmanship. Due to the skills of the shipwrigths of R.J. Perkins and Sons at Whitstable, her qualified but modest designer Fred. Shepherd and the subsequent owners who treated her with Tender, Love and Care, the Carrina is still stunning.
When you enter the doghouse, you immediately smell the atmosphere of the great years of English yachting.

Have a look at her website, enjoy her appearance and please nominate her to the editors.

Let the Carrina not be overlooked – nominate her now!
It's simply, use the link on the right side of the home page of Classic Boat, called 'Top 200 Boats' and you will find the nomination link on the upcoming page: email us your nomination(s).
Please provide the name of CARRINA in your email, plus some identifying details – eg
Length O.A.     20,12m/66'
Length over Deck.     16,46m/54'
Staysail Schooner
designed by Fred. Shepherd
or other details if you wish.

Don’t forget to add your name and an address or phone number. All nominations will go into a draw to win a Classic Boat subscription.

Many thanks in advance, on behalf of
s/y CARRINA
