Unusual \'Where Is It?\'

Couldn't resist photographing this rather fantastic sign that we came across today. MrChellers and I did a longish cycle ride and ended up at the beach where we saw the sign. Any guesses as to where we are?

Harwich looking over to Landguard Terminal. Haven't seen the sign, but recognise the view.

You're correct. Could you actually see the photo as Photobucket seems to be messing about and I haven't managed to get it displayed yet!

I was pleased to see such an amusing sign, someone has a sense of humour in the council!

Sadly not, although we cycled on for about half a mile and could then see Shotley.

Had not seen the sign when we were down there in earlier in the year, but like Leighb, remember the view.

The picture displayed as expected, didn't see any problems from photobucket.

It is Harwich seafront, west end, looking towards Felixstowe. The sign was written by Doug Tovall, who thinks he has a sense of humour, and who doesn't like dogs near his beach hut. Apart from that, no idea.
