Can you elucidate please ?? Mine is top heavy and we lift with a hand winched mast crane at my club...I cannot visualise what you mean.....

I achieved a similar result by having lifitng rop attached by the strop under the spreaders, and then further up taking a half hitch with the lifting rope around the mast, about 3/4 of the way up.
