A few years ago my 60 year old wooden boat sank on its shallow mooring because it had taken on too much rainwater and I couldnt get to it due to ill health.
So I consigned it to the deep.
Strangely enough a local acquaintance had always admired it but didnt know it was mine.
Finally in August he found out it was mine and I sold it to him for £1.
Although now a project but of Mahogany,oak and bronze fixtures and fitting he has got it ashore and has the space and facilities to work on it.
It was nice today to see it on dry land and not just its mast sticking out of the water.
