Universal joints

I've been exploring the arcane world of s/s universal joints. One company - ABSSAC - sent me 1 page of their catalogue, and 7 pages of Terms and Conditions.

I'm little closer to making a reasonably informed buying decision, except - it won't be with them.

Any better ideas...?

(We used them on some Supacat engineering issues years ago. They came booted to withstand entry of sand and slurry, and in a fetching range of Defstan colours)
