About as naff as a pair of union flag shorts!:disgust:
But if worn on a boat are they Union Jack Shorts

I voted 'naff' not specifically because it's a Union Jack but because I hate the twee mats people generally use. A plain coir mat without any witticisms or touchy feely nonsense or flags for that matter is quite sufficient.
Plenty of spots to splash colour. Door mats are not my preference. And so the world gets greyer
So would I!I think you have to be a little careful with union jack cushions and other soft furnishings. You see loads of boat ads where they are strewn on board. Personally, I'm not a fan (actually I'd rather have an EU flag these days)!
As for mats with a boaty theme, I quite like the "Signal" "Turtle Mats" - https://www.turtlemat.co.uk/boat-mats/.

funny enough I have a signal floor mat on board as per Pete's link
Me too.
Just waiting for the new boat to put under it!
I also have a UJ on the boat which I put on instead of the red ensign sometimes if I see a blue ensigned boat coming in.
Think I have been out voted
I think I might buy one, how about you Ben? Got yours yet?
Yes, I got them, and they suit the boat, except, I need to buy two more....I sort of didn't pay enough attention to what I was doing and bought coir mats, the're dropping bits everywhere and rough as a badgers arse! I need some nice soft carpetty ones.
