Underwater Angle Grinder

A bloke I know has become the UK distributor for a battery powered angle grinder that works under water.

I wonder how easy it would be to dive down on your props and give them the once over with an angle grinder to get the barnacles off?

I've cleaned my props in the water, although I'm outdrives so it's obvs easier. If you wanted to use power tools though, wouldn't air tools make more sense, for lots of reasons?

Bought the kids when they were young one of those electric water scooter things to play with -lasted one season before the inevitable
Seawater got into the electrics - expensive mistake

Sadly I am here, in Brighton at least, where it is also trying to rain, albeit not very successfully. Weather doesn't look great in SoF either in fairness.

You hold your breath for as long as possible until you grind your hand off... You have to be a professional diver to use this stuff and knowing some divers that work in the oil industry they aren't going to be using a "made in china" appliance imho.

I think an air operated angle grinder would be better under water for DIY jobs
