Under water filler

I've removed a blakes seacock and some of the gel coat has come away - i want to make it flush for when i replace - thanks

Best to apply at low tide. :)
 
If it's for chips in the gelcoat, you cna get gelcoat filler. Plastic padding do one, works fine for me.

Unless the holes are big, don't worry about it. The sealer will fill them and no water will get near. Belt and braces you might clean the area and apply a coat of epoxy , but I suspect you will find that the hole in the hull is just bare GRP. If the chips are outside the area of the sealer then an epoxy filler would be the correct one to use and then antifoul over it.

I now realise that I asked an incomplete question. Doh!! Sorry.:o

What I meant was, "Do you intend to carry-out the repair when the boat is in the water?" : Therefore requiring a repair agent which can be used and will "set" while immersed?

I hope the error will not heap ridicule upon my head ;)
