Under Matress Slats

Yes Tony, I sell that system in some of our beds, they are v.good Providing that they are sprung and laminated.
They also have to fit on a frame, they are no good to slip under your mattress ontop of the base, They need supported at both ends only, so as the centre is able to spring up and down without hitting anything solid.

Hope this helps, if you need any further info, please let me know.

Cheers..

Alistair..

Think what you need is simply a good mattress nine inch thick. Hope youve got enough head room above for when doing press ups!!

As said b4, we've this system @home & it's very comfy with a decent (albeit thin) foam mattress. maybe try one at a bed shop that sells dunlopillo beds?. The foam quality makes a huge difference though, so I'd be surprised if just the slats transforms a not comfy bed.

The slats/plastic bits in your link look same as the dunlopillo (actually made by someone else in germany, I think)

think a better option is to get a sprung mattress made. There was a bloke offering to makem to size at SBS. Slats themselves don't make uncomfy beds magically comfy. I have no slats on the boat, and all comfy. I also have a much less comfy bed at home, which has slats.

Contact York Bedding @01904 626425 he made me 2 super beds @ reasonable price ask for the soft filling as it going on a solid base. You can also fold them in two to go thro. a cabin door.PS I have nothing to do with above just a satisfied customer. If its for a V>berth cut the brown paper template to go 4 inches up the V.
