Under 27ft with wheel steering and under 12K

A tiller saves space when you are moored up but gets in the way when sailing (or seems like this to me) so any sensible ideas would be good.

I'll sell you our Halcyon 27, tiller does not come into cockpit, best of both worlds /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Got a Mondeo as well /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

The Westerly Chieftain sacrifices cockpit space to give the aft cabin. Room for 4 in the cockpit if on good terms /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

There are Westerly Centaur Ketches and sloops with wheel steering.

Good luck with your hunt for such rare beasts. Reasons very few boats of this size have wheeels are.
Cockpits are usually too small (or at least too noarrow).
Wheels take up too much space.
Mechanical advantage not needed to steer the boat
Cost and complication high in relation to overall cost of boat

When you do see one of the rare boats of this type you will understand why they were not popular!

You could always fit one of these or a (much more expensive) folding wheel.

A Centaur ketch has a larger cockpit if you can put up with the mizzen mast in it
