UKBA 35% increase in boardings!!!!

I didn't say anything of the kind. But I'm sorry if it was too complicated for you: I thought I was arguing with someone who had a basic grasp of english (and arithmetic). My mistake.
Ah - Tim, as I suspect you've had a sense of humour bypass at some point. You have my sympathies. ;-)

Er! Of course the should, and of course they have - see RYA Mags. passim
Well I seem to have livened up this part of the Blog - it took 3 months to do the first 113 entries and we have had some 53 in the last 4 days - some of the point some way off - but to pick up on the original issue I think we have limited time to enter suggestions and indeed votes on the Government web site so could I repeat my plea to go to:

http://yourfreedom.hmg.gov.uk/resto...ding-vessels-at-sea-in-an-intimidating-manner

and make a positive vote for the suggestion if you are in agreement - I note James Jermain's point that the RYA are indeed in close discussion on the activity of the UKBA in respect of UK pleasure boats and are, I think, currently awaiting some guidance from the EU on the legality of the actions taken by the UKBA. Please spread the word to other sections of the Blog and support the motion by voting if you are in favour. It is a public way of supporting the efforts of the RYA.

Where did the size of the sun come into the debate?

Regards to all and spread the word - I hope the Mags print a link based on the the activity they have seen here.
