It would appear that the VOTE went against the Gov't and so at the moment UK will not be DIRECTLY involved in a strike against Syria. However we all know that weak kneed
Cameron will still be offering all the help to USA.

It's probable that commonsense overtook hubris - I doubt that our over-extended and undercut services would have been able to support such a military strike.

Should'nt this be for for the Lounge? But whilst here I would have thought giving access the Sovereign bases in Cyprus would be admissable...learnt to windsurf at Akotori, great beach, sandy and shallow so when you fell off you could step back onto the board and try again.

Good evening:

It does not appear that the vote went against Gov't - it is a fact that it went against the Gov't.

The view that Cameron is week kneed is your personal opinion unless you have some medical evidence to prove that his knees are in fact less than normal which I strongly doubt.

For the above reasons your post is simply your personal opinion and does not belong in this section.

Was this post simply another effort of drawing our attention to the fact that your catamaran is still for sale. If we were interested we would probably have contacted you when you first posted this fact so your repetition of this fact is unlikely to catch our attention now.

Cheers

Dear Squeaky,

Get a life, why take that attitude?

Opinions are allowed.

Its obviously drawn your attention to it as you are harping on about it.

The only error could be that it was not posted on the Lounge.

The OP was clearly making a political point which is not what this forum is for. Had the point had any direct bearing on the lives of ".. those who live on their boats..."etc then it could be given the benefit of the doubt but it did NOT. It belongs ONLY in the Lounge.

If it was his intention to gain free publicity for the sale of his boat, then there are proper places for that too.

Why do some think that it's OK for them to make up their own rules or that the existing ones cannot possibly apply to them?

Good afternoon:

No, I didn't get out of bed on the wrong side of the bed as that is not possible with my forecabin which only allows me to exit one way however thanks for giving me the benefit of doubt.

Actually my remark about the sale of his catamaran was only an added afterthought as this has been a suspicion which has formed in my mind over time from reading his posts - I didn't think this was worth mentioning however decided to throw it into my post as an after thought.

Actually I should not have paid any attention to the post.

"Genuine Antique 17th - 19th century Sea Charts at www.lindisfarneprints.com" Another one doing a bit of free advertising!

I'm deeply sorry if my link offends you in some way, or causes some unseen harm or detriment. It was not my wish to cause you any pain or discomfort and I hope you will soon recover from the experience.
Of course you could just omit the effort of clicking on things that have no interest for you.
