As the title says, really. I have Seaclear and a few other gps programes on my laptop. I've seen the offshore charts available from visitmyharbour (which I'm planning on getting), but I also do a lot on the broads. I was wondering if there was an equivalent?

I've downloaded an OS map of the area, but I can't get it to work. I've a load of TIFF files I can look at individually but I can't make them "workable" (Like google maps for instance)

Thanks,
Dan

An interesting point. I have successfully scanned paper OS maps into SeaClear, but as with scanning/calibrating any chart it is a real pain. The person who will certainly know if there is any ready-made (commercial) solution will be Steve Bryant at VisitMyHarbour .

AFAIK, there are no published charts of the Broads as such.

The Broads Authority do make available the results of their latest hydrographic survey on their website (sorry no link as I'm connected via GPRS and don't have a lot of bandwidth to play with). A friend of mine has managed to take this data and overlay it on to the relevant OS map with good results, though obviously he can't publish the resulting image files due to copyright issues.
