I enjoy servicing my own boat so I know for sure it's done properly but must admit that it's becoming a necessity to consider paying someone to do it

So, to remove fouling, change lube, remove drive, inspect, change bellows, refit drive, reapply antifoul (brushed on not sprayed) and check operation. How much should I expect to pay someone "for labour only" per drive.

Cheers G

I would have thought that your antifoul-related tasks are not going to be done by the same guy that does the spannering tasks; for my boat, the yard that lifts the boat does the jetwash, acid wash and antifoul application. The engineer that services the drives typically will do a big service on both drives in a single day

I'm sure you would get a varied price response if you asked me , Your own engineer Mr Tom, Golden Arrow , RK marine to list a few. Not sure a dealer would give you and provide a labour only service though.
