Types of anode (Query)

Just had a look at MG Duff's site ( After trip back from Cherbourg)
Note they advise:
Zinc or Aluminium for Salt water
Aluminium for Brackish water
Magnesium for Fresh water..
Should I, moored at Two Rivers Meet ( Avon and Stour), Christchurch, have one of each on the shaft? We have all three types of water tho' I wouldn't drink any of it!!

If there is a local chandler in Christchurch, as a general rule, they should stock the best type for the area. What are other boats there using?

i see no problem in having all three (or just two) if you can afford it - they are all lowest on the scale of nobility but scrap for the bottom places depending on salinity.
