Two questions

I see from the latest MBY that a certain Mr. Matthews has got another of his regular bottles of scotch for his letter -

Is IPC / MBY / MBM / Kimatollah gradually trying to pacify him for allegedly rubbish reimbursement for the incomparable Marseilles report ?

It must be a pain to change one's login handle nand lose all one's number of posts but -

after > 700 posts does a learner qualify to become a "know-a-bit" ?

1) Answer to point 1 is that The Kimotallah is just creeping to Mr Matthews: obvious intent is bribery as a good journo knows that aforementioned will split bottle with him...

2) It will take more than 700+ posts and 18 months of reading the drivel on this forum to educate anyone including Rhodes scholars. Given that our 'learner' is somewhat dim , I think we can reliably assume that he can safely keep his 'handle' for at laest 3 more years...at least there is a 10% chance he will have boat a boat by then..

However TCM has spread a rumour that he does now recognise pointy bit..

......is not going to appreciate your slanderous ( not to mention libellous) comments on his literary style. I understand that , unlike others hereabouts, I might mention that he can string the relative elements of the English language together in something approximating to the style which was intended.While it may follow the linguistic perfection of Chaucer or the Great bard , it is nevertheless accurate in its parse when he feels like it.

Furthermore i would advise that contrary to any dsultoty aratory and verbage to the contrary ....

I'm bluidy sure it has! Still it is a new type, I'll tell you all about it sometime, very clever bit of kit this one, should have finished this section by tonight! Bi center bit drilling with a steerable motor, great fun!
