Two duff hour meters?

Twin KAD42. Standard Volvo tachos with hour meters. Ran the engines yesterday. Tachos were fine, but both hour meters were blank.

Any ideas?

If as I suspect these are lcd hour displays, they do not like damp! A volvo dealer told me to remove the rev counter and 'cook it GENTLY' in the oven to dry it out. Actually I sat it in front of a fan heater for a while, turning it from time to time, which worked. You do not lose the hours run data, only the display. Stupid isn't it to use something which doesn't like damp for marine use, especially as the older electro/mechanical hour counters work fine
