Forumites might remember a thread discussing this East Coast Classic a couple of years ago..... Having just re-read my copy, I Googled the title and found several copies through Amazon.

One Southend bookshop is asking £575 and change... I'm thinking of putting my copy into Bank Vault to be taken out and lovingly gazed at!

I used to have that book, and a two and a half tonner [Johnson & Jago], bought from North Fambridge for £500.
I should have kept the book and given the boat to the charity shop.

It's a good read, but not that good! Better put mine away safe!

I bought one cheap from the USA and sold it for a good profit after I'd read it. I enjoyed reading it but I wouldn't want to read it again; it wasn't that good. A bit twee, I thought.
